A Four-year degree course that includes compulsory internships in 2nd, 3rd and 4th years.
The final year takes place either in Nantes or in Montreal (Canada).
The concept art is a traditional and digital drawing discipline.
The aim is to create and design universes, and visual appearance, for video games, movies, 2D or 3D animation movies, board games. The concept artist imagines the characters, the objects, the sets, etc. on various appearances (colour or position) into 2D or 3D. He has to adapt himself to every universe.
The requirements for that training, which is unique in France, are a good knowledge of the drawing’s bases, anatomy, volumes, etc. and, of course, a huge blast of motivation.
